About CAM Preschool

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
9 am-11 am (with option to stay an additional hour until noon)
The CAM Preschool follows the Ellensburg School District school year calendar. District holidays are observed.
Fees
Registration: $50
Class: $135/Month (in the form of 9 payments, September-May)
- Option to stay until noon—additional $50/Month ($185/month total)
Montessori Style of Learning
Children have access to a variety of learning materials that are sequential in nature. The materials focus on reading and mathematics, as well as practical life skills, sensory perception and critical thinking. Children are instructed in the use of the materials and then encouraged to work at their own pace. With a strong foundation in reading and math, students make excellent, unrestricted progress and become independent learners. Kindergarten readiness is a primary goal.
Socialization
Children are given ample opportunity to interact with their peers during group activities. Good table manners are practiced during snack time. In consideration of all of the children, there is zero tolerance for violent or inappropriate behavior.
Student-Teacher Ratio
To ensure plentiful one-on-one instruction time the student-teacher ratio is 6 to 1. The maximum class size is limited to 12 students and 2 instructors.

Field Trips
We take two field trips each year–one to the fire station and one to Mountain View Park for an end-of-the-year picnic. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Open communication between parents and teachers is essential for your child to derive the maximum benefit from the CAM preschool experience. Daily communication is encouraged, and conferences may be scheduled at any time.
